Bear’s Head Tooth Mushroom: Hericium coralloides


The Bear’s Head Tooth mushroom (aka Hericium coralloides in Latin) can be from 8 to 20 inches high. It’s an American mushroom that grows in the northeast. It’s sweeter than most mushroom varieties and is very versatile in recipes. Simply add it to your favorite soups or sautes. Mushroom connoisseurs also like to bread crumb large slices and fry it. The possibilities are endless!
