My advice to everyone (and a reminder to myself) is: Write It Down.
It’s such an important thing. During this challenge it has become so obvious, that what I write down has more weight than what I keep in my head (or keep to myself). This of course applies to blogging publicly, but it also applies to the notes I make privately. I am more likely to pursue or get done what I write down. And it happens even faster if I put what I write in a visible place, where I can see it and be reminded constantly. I know this sounds like something everyone knows, but it’s not something everyone does!
Today was great. I am really happy with all that got done today. I did everything I planned — except! I didn’t list the new malas in my jewelry shop. But I did list new beads in my bead shop. And I ate really well, exercised, and did everything else I planned on. I even made a bold move! Which was, making a donation to a local animal shelter. I know it doesn’t sound bold, but I often have so many excuses: “I don’t have time right now”, or “I don’t have the money at the moment”. I would not allow any excuses today. Time & money are no excuse! The goal was to make it happen — and I was so glad I did. It felt like such a relief, and such a wonderful way to spend time & money. This is the organization I donated to: Link.
