Happy LOVE YOU Day! :)

Happy Love You Chihuahua

I am always sending heaps & heaps of love to those I know and don’t know. Everyone deserves to be loved — always. But I also have a great time on days that are centered around love, like Valentine’s Day. I just love seeing all the hearts!

Visit Sunday Is For Lovers today. I posted a Valentine’s Day blog post.

Other news in love…
Things have been terribly busy for me. My dog is doing better, but still needing lots of my attention (and resources.) She has dental surgery scheduled for the 23rd. And this week we had to see several vets. She simply has an infected canine tooth. Her last chewing tooth! (When I adopted her as a rescue, she was already missing lots of teeth.) So I’ll be dealing with preparing for this surgery, both financially (it’s over 1000 dollars!) and with setting aside extra time to make sure she is well taken care of and comforted. My heart goes out to her. I would not want a rotten tooth or any dental surgery for myself! Yikes. Not my favorite topic or expense. I just worry for her and hope this doesn’t cause her too much pain or stress. I will try to keep myself calm and ‘normal’ so that she doesn’t pick up on my energy and thoughts. I don’t want her to think anything is wrong. It’s just life and love as usual, always up & down, but unconditional love stays the same.

  1. Awww. Penny. Toothaches causes so much pain. She has been through so much. I am sending purifying thoughts out to her.

    1. I know. My heart goes out to her. Growing old and being sick (from time to time) is no fun. :( But I’m glad we have this time together and I’m so lucky to have her as my sidekick. She’s my daily ray of sunshine, wisdom and positivity.

    1. Ahw, thanks for checking on her/us. :)
I postponed the surgery. I don’t feel confident about putting her fully under, taking the full risk of anesthesia. I’m trying to find a vet that can pull the tooth with local pain killers, but not have to anesthetize her. With her age and track record of illnesses, I just don’t think it’s safe.
So at the moment I’m trying to find a vet that agrees with me. If I can not find one, I’ll reschedule the surgery with the vet we previously had. (They are only willing to operate on her if they can fully put her under.) I just want to explore all options before taking and accepting that route. It’s a big risk, and I just don’t feel good about it.
